Professional Accreditation: It enables engineers to manage their personal profile without the need for consulting the council; in addition to executing several self-services such as renewal applications, promotions, helping new comers with their passports and other services through the e-services portal.

About Professional Accreditation
The statute of Saudi Council of Engineers, established under Royal Decree 36/M, empowers it to establish governing policies and criteria for engineering practice in Saudi Arabia, and Article 27 of its bylaw stipulates that all engineers who practice the profession in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia must be registered with the Council.
Objectives of professional registration:
- Assessment of academic qualifications and practical experiences of engineering practitioners.
- Maintain continuous professional development in order to improve the skills of engineers and follow the developments in the field of specialization.
- Provide and apply the best professional practices by engineers to achieve the protection of society and ensure its well-being.
- Create a registry of engineers with validated qualification level and professional experiences.
Professional registration requirements:
- Obtain the necessary scientific qualification in one of the engineering disciplines (Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent)
- To sign on Authorization and Agreement.
- Provide necessary documents to complete the registration process (ID / No. border, passport, academic record).
- Pay the required membership fees.
- - Registration for those with less than five years of experience shall not be accepted, unless they are Saudi, Bedoon.
Renewal of Professional registration:
- Apply for e-renewal through the e-portal of the Council.
Professional grading requirements:
Associate Engineer:
In addition to the basic requirements, documents of certified professional experience in the same field for a minimum of four (4) years are required and to be submitted online.
Professional engineer:
In addition to the basic requirements, documents of certified professional experience in the same field for a minimum of eight (8) years are required and to be submitted online.
Consultant engineer:
In addition to the basic requirements, documents of certified professional experience in the same field for a minimum of sixteen (16) years are required and to be submitted online.
