The Saudi Council of Engineers Brings Together Experts at the Architecture and Urban Heritage Forum in Asir

The Saudi Council of Engineers is gearing up to organise the Architecture and Urban Heritage Forum in Asir from 3 to 4 December 2025, to be held at the Abha Chamber of Commerce, with the participation of some specialists and relevant authorities in the urban sector. The forum aims to address topics related to architecture and urban heritage in the region in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

The forum seeks to highlight the cultural and architectural aspects of the region by discussing themes connected to local architecture and urban heritage and by reviewing experiences and practices that reflect the history of Asir and its distinctive architectural character, with the participation of a select group of specialists and those interested in urban identity and heritage.

The forum will also cover key topics, including the urban identity of Asir, its heritage features, and the architectural elements that distinguish it, in addition to presenting initiatives and ideas concerned with local architecture and methods for its documentation.

The SCE invites all those interested in architecture and urban heritage, including engineers, specialists, and practitioners, to attend the forum and participate in its sessions and activities, as it provides an opportunity to learn about experiences related to local architecture and urban heritage in Asir.
