The Saudi Council of Engineers Concludes Introductory Workshops in Jubail and Yanbu

The Saudi Council of Engineers concluded its introductory workshops recently held in the cities of Jubail and Yanbu on July 16 and 23, with the attendance of the Secretary-General, Eng. Abdulmohsen bin Dhawi Al-Majnouni. The workshops witnessed active participation from a distinguished group of male and female engineers across various disciplines, in addition to several engineering firms and representatives from public and private entities.

 

The organization of the workshops comes as part of the Council's ongoing efforts to enhance professional practices and strengthen institutional efficiency within the engineering sector. During the sessions, key services and initiatives provided by the Council were highlighted, alongside a focus on specialized programs aimed at empowering national talents, improving professional performance, and aligning technical skill development with labor market demands.

 

His Excellency the Secretary-General emphasized the importance of direct interactive meetings between the Council and entities operating in both the public and private sectors. He noted that the engineering sector is undergoing rapid transformations that require adaptive regulations and continuous development an effort the Council is actively pursuing by expanding its range of services and updating its professional framework to enhance engineers' readiness and foster a professional environment that promotes innovation and excellence.

His Excellency also highlighted the Council's commitment to supporting engineering entities and institutions by providing a comprehensive suite of services, including professional registration and classification, professional examinations, training and development, and membership benefits.


At the conclusion of the workshops, His Excellency the Secretary General expressed his appreciation to all participants for their attendance and constructive engagement, reaffirming the Council's commitment to continuing this participatory approach that strengthens communication channels and builds bridges of knowledge with various success partners, aligning with the Council's vision to establish an integrated professional ecosystem that enhances the quality of engineering practice and supports the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.​
