Saudi Council of Engineers’ Board of Directors Assigns Mr. Musaad Al-Otaibi as Secretary General of the Council

The Board of Directors of the Saudi Council of Engineers has issued a resolution assigning Mr. Musaad bin Abdullah Al-Otaibi as Secretary General of the Council, in a step that reflects the Board’s commitment to strengthening the Council’s capabilities and enhancing its institutional performance in line with the rapid developments within the Kingdom’s engineering sector.

This decision underscores the Board’s dedication to empowering the General Secretariat to lead development initiatives and enhance institutional readiness across the Council.

The assignment is expected to further advance the Council’s role in elevating engineering practices and improving its services, by supporting initiatives aimed at enhancing the professional environment and expanding cooperation with government entities and the private sector—thereby contributing to higher-quality engineering practices and strengthening the Council’s presence and impact in the sector.

The Board emphasized that the upcoming period requires improvements to work mechanisms and increased institutional readiness, affirming the importance of continuing to implement approved development plans to enhance performance efficiency.
