The Supervisory Committee for the Elections of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Council of Engineers announced the approval of the final lists of voters and candidates for the ninth term of the Board of Directors (1447–1450 AH), following the completion of all auditing, review, and objection-handling stages in accordance with the approved procedures.
The Committee explained that the candidate introduction period and electoral campaigns will commence on Monday, 15 December 2025, and will continue for 12 days. During this period, the dedicated electronic election platform will display candidates’ professional profiles and electoral programs in detail, enabling members to review their experience and select the most suitable candidate.
The Committee noted that the approval of the final lists comes as part of the completion of the regulatory procedures governing the electoral process, leading up to the stages preceding the start of voting.
The Committee further confirmed that electronic voting will begin on Sunday, 28 December 2025, at 10:00 a.m., and will continue until Tuesday, 30 December 2025, at 10:00 a.m. It clarified that the electronic voting platform will allow voters inside and outside the Kingdom to participate with ease, while emphasizing the importance of adhering to the specified timeframe to ensure votes are counted.
The Committee emphasized that the electoral process is being conducted in accordance with the highest standards of compliance and adherence to regulatory controls. The supervisory committee, comprising representatives from the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing and the Saudi Council of Engineers, is overseeing all stages of the process to ensure fairness and transparency.
