On Sunday and Monday, the Saudi Council of Engineers in cooperation with the King Faisal Specialized Hospital hosted the initiative of "Our Blood Donation", which is aimed at the Staff donation with blood for the hospital blood bank, to activate the social aspect in the Saudi Council of Engineers, within the strategic plan of its current session.
The official spokesman of the Saudi Council of Engineers, Eng. Nasser Al-Abdulatif, indicated that participation in this initiative is part of the social responsibilities of the council towards the society in general. Social interaction, and received the body of donors during the declared period, and saw a good turn of the members and staff, who participated in the initiative by donating blood. According to Al-Abdulatif, participation in the initiative has several reasons, first of which is to provide some of the quantities of blood needed in the future to save a number of patients, spreading awareness about the importance of donating blood, and its benefits to donors health, and to carry out the strategic transformational plan of the Council which Includes participation in social initiatives that contribute to building a conscious society that recognizes the importance of participation in the social work. He assured that the Council Board of Directors and its members are ready to receive and participate in all social initiatives either at the individual level or at the Private and public authorities.
