Training and Programs Department

 

 
Vision: To achieve leadership in the field of engineering training.
Objective: to build distinctive engineering competencies through capacity development.

 
To achieve this, the department follows the strategies set out by the Council especially the following:
1. To contribute to raising the level of engineering education in the areas of academic and training in order to achieve compatibility between the outputs of the education and the labor market.
2. To upgrade the capability of the engineers and technicians through adoption of training and qualifying curricula at the national level to enable them to practice effectively.

 
Department Tasks
1. Implementation of the vision of the Council in the field of the department.
2. Supervising the training centers in collaboration with the General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training.
3. Encourage the engineering sector on engineering training to develop the capability of engineers.
4. Develop training plans and directions to help the private sector to build engineering capacity. 
5. Organizing programs and free lectures for members.

 
 Of the most important functions of this department prepare an annual training plan is based on two axes:
1. Planning: Note includes global activities and recent trends and reflected at the national level as much as possible.
2. Rehabilitation: needs and required skills and identify training needs based on business requirements and the skills required.
Trends and future plans (short term):
1 - Investment in research and development and studies in this area.
2 - remote training, and access to training for all (free for members).
Trends and future plans (long-term):
1 - develop a comprehensive strategy for training include linking training depending open training file electronically engineer.
2 - the participation of the private sector and raise the spirit of initiative under the auspices of the funding for training programs.
3 - Encourage the transmission of successful international experiences.
