The Supervisory Committee for the Board of Directors Elections of the Saudi Council of Engineers has announced the preliminary list of candidates and voters for the ninth term (1447–1450H). This announcement comes as part of the Committee’s efforts to enhance professional participation and organize the electoral process, ensuring that members can review candidate and voter information in preparation for the next phase of the elections.
The issuance of the preliminary list reflects the Committee’s commitment to enabling engineers to actively participate in selecting their representatives on the Board of Directors, while supporting the organizational procedures of the elections by providing clear and accurate information on eligible candidates and voters. The Committee has invited all members to review the list through the designated elections website.
The Supervisory Committee emphasized that the announcement of the preliminary list is a key step preceding the approval of the final list, noting that receiving complaints, objections, and grievances is an integral part of the regulatory procedures adopted to ensure the integrity of the electoral process. These measures aim to enable all eligible members to exercise their rights in accordance with clear standards that support the progress of the elections and align with the expectations of professionals. The Committee clarified that objections are open to all candidates and voters, with candidate objections submitted via the elections website (https://boardelections.saudieng.sa/) and voter objections submitted via the following email: Election9@saudieng.sa. The deadline for submitting complaints, objections, and grievances is Saturday, 6 December 2025.
The Council affirmed that managing the electoral process and announcing the preliminary list reflect its continuous commitment to developing the engineering work environment and strengthening the involvement of engineers in managing their professional affairs, thereby supporting the Council’s objectives and enhancing the quality of the engineering sector in the Kingdom.
