HE Dr. Bassam Ghalman, Vice Chairman of the Saudi Council of Engineers and Director General of Haramain High Speed Rail Project gave a valuable lecture organized by the branch of the Saudi Council of Engineers in Assir in cooperation with the Civil Engineering Department on the contracts management and engineering projects based on his practical experience in implementing engineering projects.
This is as part of the Saudi Council of Engineers concern to share the experiences and expertise of the engineering sector, in accordance with a year-round program to benefit from the practical field experiences and share them between the fresh graduated engineers, within the strategic objectives set by the Council to improve and develop the works of Saudi engineers.
Dr. Bassam Ghalman expressed his great pleasure at sharing his practical experiences with the personnel of engineering sector, which is one of the sectors that mainly relied on practical experiments and field experience and sharing of which gives positive results, thereby urging the engineer always strive to gain the experience of others to take the shortcuts of long field work.
"The engineering work and projects in particular need the accumulated experiments and experience to implement them correctly away from diligence, so the precise details obtained from the experiences have a significant impact upon implementing of new works, making the quest to know the missing information of the major projects obviate the need to work for years on the ground". Dr. Bassam Ghalman said
It is worth mentioning that the Saudi Council of Engineers makes great efforts to develop Saudi engineers, through organizing scientific meetings and lectures inside and outside the Kingdom to share as much experience as possible to the Saudi engineer to drive the economic development by developing Saudi cadres working in major development projects in the Kingdom.
